This is why I can't get anything done!

Why do cat's like boxes? Of coarse it's shipping day and my animals have to get involved!

This was the cat that knocked over Amanda's tree and broke her ornaments. Of coarse, the  cat is a little angel!

Custom Cheerleaders for an Elite team

and... last but not least - a challenge.  Getting 8 grandkids into a trailer hayride custom made for Grandparents that take their kids on hayrides in utility trailers - love it!

Some Unusual Requests!

Oil Worker with Jack-Pump for Lucy's son  in Texas!
Military Family from Tennessee - Go USA!
"Born to be wild!"  "Cactus Queen" & "This is for the birds!"
and last but not least, done for my son Ryan to his fellow associates at the Desert Botanical Gardens.

Here is an excerpt of an e-mail I received today. First I was crying, then I was laughing -

Hello Bert...you don't know me, but you have been a part of my life for years. My grandmother is Noreen Clements, and I have received one of your ornaments every year since I was a child. I love them - to me, they are what makes my whole Christmas. Long story short, my kitten toppled my tree last night and sent half of your beautiful ornaments crashing - and they broke. Do you have a repair policy? If I send them to you, can you try to fix them? I can't tell you how devastated I was last night - I was absolutely inconsolable with tears(which is a testament to your beautiful work and how much I love them so dearly). Please contact at your earliest convenience - I don't mind phone or email...I hope that you can help me.
Amanda Clements

After I talked to Amanda - she said she had my ornaments before she "had a memory" - that either makes me  feel special or really old! I cherish both! Then she told me she still had the tags on them from when her Grandma gave them to her all except for one.
I just couldn't believe it - This is why I still do what I do. Everyday I thank God that He has given me this talent and ability to where I can't explain where it comes from, only He gets the glory!
Have a Blessed Day! Bert

Custom Ornaments from around the country!

The bride and groom was certainly a challenge - ruffles made me crazy! The kitty costume little girl was for her  2nd Halloween and the house was an "extreme" makeover nightmare challege - it had so much detail and I'm certainly NOT an architect!

"Jungle Love"

So today I worked on filling a couple custom ornaments. I think I was in the "come on everybody let's do that conga" mood!
Created for Mike & Kelly who spent 4 1/2 months in Africa filming

This OverLeTop! was created for my dear friend Tena who is giving this to a friend who love's zebra's and is a chef at AJ's.
Never did either of these two animals before. Thanks to great customers who keep pushing my sculpting abilities!

Santa Safari

Ok, so my fav to date is this one! Created for talented photographer Michael Valigore, I was inspired by a picture he took while in Africa (not to mention a little nudge from his Mom Chrissy!).

Custom Western Always & Forever First Christmas

These were fun, one was for a very special customer of mine Noreen Clements who goes back so far, my mind has gone blank! It is for her grandson Christopher who has a collection of my ornaments since he was a boy. It makes me want to cry when I realize how special these ornaments are to others. Now Christopher and Brittney are starting their collection.

This other ornament was ordered from my dear friend Miss Jan Marrou who sang at their wedding in Wyoming - obviously they both wore white!
Congratulations Matt & Reagen!

Custom Ornaments

These were created for a special customer in Pennsylvania!

Really fun to make!

Vineyard Ornaments

I received a request for "wine Santa's" from The Playful Garden in Napa - I was so excited to create these for one of the best gift stores in the S.F. Bay area! Here are the final designs.
"Santa's Little Helper"

 "Night Cap"

 "Grape Stomp"

 "the man with the bag"

 "Interchangeable Santa" has different quotes

 "Interchangeable Mrs. C"

Then The Playful Garden asked me to make these:

Also created for them were their own "custom" rack cards. Thanks Playful Garden for the opportunity to have my creations in your store!
